Terms of service

Last updated October 19, 2026

1. Who we are

SSEO is run by Tutku Tashkan, trading as SSEO Agency, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean SSEO Agency, and "you" means the business that subscribes.

Postal address: Liverpool, United Kingdom. Email: support@sseo.agency.

These terms apply to every subscription to our service and to your use of this website and the client dashboard. By starting a free trial or a paid subscription, you accept them.

2. Business customers only

Our service is for businesses, agencies and other organisations. By subscribing, you confirm that you are acting for a business, trade or profession, and not as a consumer, and that you have authority to accept these terms for the business you name at checkout.

Because of this, consumer rights such as the 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply. If you are a consumer, please do not subscribe.

3. The service

SSEO provides an organic growth service for websites. Depending on your plan, it includes keyword research, writing and publishing articles, link building on partner sites, technical audits, social media posts, AI search tracking, a client dashboard and support. Your plan includes the features described on our pricing page on the day you subscribe.

We use our own processes, software and carefully chosen suppliers, including AI tools, to deliver the service. We may improve or change features over time. If we remove or materially reduce something central to your plan, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you may cancel before the change takes effect.

4. Free trials

New Autopilot and Scale subscriptions start with a 3-day free trial. You add a payment method at checkout, and we charge it when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged.

Work starts during the trial, so articles, links and other deliverables may be produced and published before your first payment. We may limit free trials to one per customer and per website, and may refuse or end a trial that we reasonably believe is being misused.

Plans without a free trial are charged when you check out.

5. Prices, billing and taxes

Prices are in US dollars, per website, and are billed in advance every month or every year, depending on the billing period you choose. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe, and subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled.

If you add websites or move to a higher plan during a billing period, you are charged for the rest of that period straight away. If you remove websites or move to a lower plan, the difference is credited against your next invoices; it is not paid out as a refund.

We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices. If that changes, we will tell you before it affects your bill. You are responsible for any taxes, duties or bank fees that apply to your payments in your own country.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it automatically. If it is still unpaid 14 days after it was due, we may pause the service until it is paid.

We may change our prices for future billing periods. We will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and you may cancel before then.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time through the billing portal linked in our website footer, or by emailing support@sseo.agency. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and the service continues until then.

We do not refund unused time in a billing period, including the rest of a yearly subscription, unless the law requires it or these terms say otherwise.

We may end your subscription straight away if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if a payment stays unpaid for more than 30 days. We may also end it for any other reason with 30 days' notice, in which case we refund any fees you paid for time after it ends.

When your subscription ends, we stop producing and publishing new content and close your dashboard access. Articles already published on your website stay there and remain yours. Links that partner sites have already placed may stay or may be removed by those sites over time.

7. Your responsibilities

You must give us accurate information, keep your login details secure, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to your account.

You confirm that you own or have permission to manage every website you connect, and to let us publish content to it. You let us access the content management systems, analytics tools and social media accounts you connect, only to deliver the service.

You are responsible for reviewing content for accuracy and for its fit with your business, products and legal obligations, especially for regulated topics such as health, finance or law, and for any claims about your own products or services. If something we published needs correcting, tell us and we will fix it.

8. Content and intellectual property

The articles and other content we create for you are yours to use, change and keep, including content published during a free trial and after your subscription ends. To the extent we hold any rights in that content, we transfer them to you.

Content is written with the help of AI tools. It is original to your site, but we cannot promise that it is legally protected in every country, or that similar wording does not appear elsewhere.

You give us permission to use your brand name, logo, website content and other materials you share, only to deliver the service. We keep all rights in our own software, processes, templates and know-how. We will not name you as a customer in our marketing without your permission.

9. Search engines, AI assistants and other platforms

Search engines, AI assistants, social networks and partner websites are run by others and decide independently what they show. We do not guarantee any specific rankings, traffic, mentions, leads or revenue.

Your use of platforms you connect to the service, such as your content management system or social media accounts, is also governed by their own terms.

10. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for content or websites that are unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit or harmful, that promote illegal goods or services, that infringe anyone else's rights, or that spread malware or spam.

We may refuse to produce particular content, and may pause the service for a website that breaks these rules. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

11. Confidentiality and personal data

Each of us will keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only for the service, unless it is already public or the law requires it to be shared.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. Where we handle personal data on your behalf in delivering the service, we do so only to deliver it, keep it secure, and make sure our suppliers are bound by similar obligations.

12. Liability

The service is provided with reasonable skill and care, but otherwise as is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may pause it briefly for maintenance or because of problems with our suppliers.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Otherwise, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data or search rankings, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for all claims arising from your subscription is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.

Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For changes that matter to you, we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect, and you may cancel before then. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

14. General

These terms and your chosen plan are the whole agreement between us about the service. If any part is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.

You may not transfer your subscription to someone else without our written agreement. We may transfer our rights and obligations to a business that takes over the service, and will tell you if we do. No one else has rights under these terms.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
